Northern Stray-Care Veterinary Centre was originally set up to offer neutering, vaccination and identichipping to stray or abandoned dogs and cats. We are now able to offer these essential services to the public at affordable prices. Northern Stray-Care now also provides Stray Aid with all medical care from the standard neutering and vaccinations to emergency medical treatment. Northern Stray-Care is now at the same location as Stray Aid to ensure these services are available at short notice to the strays brought in. Help towards the cost of these treatments may be available from the RSPCA, Dogs Trust, Cats Protection, your local Council and similar. Details of our euthenasia and cremation services are available on request. "As principle of Northern Stray-Care Vet Centre I can help Stray Aid by providing health checks and cost-effective vetinary treatment to the dogs and cats rescued by the charity.
Since Stray Aid opened its first rescue centre in Durham in 2006, it has been able to improve the profile of stray dogs and as a direct result many re-homeable dogs have been saved and given loving new homes.
